Warren County's proposed transfer tax increase
On Thursday, February 9, 2006 at 5:30 p.m. the Warren County Commissioners have agreed to hold a third public hearing to discuss a proposed increase of its real estate transfer tax 33% to maximum 4.0 mills. The average priced home in Warren County in 2005 was $249,345 with a 3 mill tax of $748. 4 mills would be $997, and this is charged to anyone conveying the title to real estate, residential or commercial.

1) Attend the public hearing on Thursday, February 9, 2006 at 5:30 p.m., at the Warren County Administration Building at 406 Justice Dr. in Lebanon.
